    Love the info that there will be Hot Deal offers that we can purchase with farm cash. :) 

    Just had a thought - wouldn't it be a better idea to put the laboratory on the site of the old cinema. It would still require the 5 workers, but would leave room on the farm for the extra house lots of people will need to add.

    Yes, exactly :) You can increase the amount of one product by having multiple laboratories, comparable to leveling up the windmill, for example. You can not, however, produce different things on multiple farms at the same time.

  • Thank you, GGS, for the upgrade confirmation. It's one of the things I've been asking for.

    The lab sounds interesting. If you build it on the flower farm, will you be able to make premium chicken and duck feed in it?
  • Right now, premium feed only gives experience points. It does not increase production the way premium humus does. Unless premium feed is changed to increase production, I'm not sure building a laboratory will be worth the space and workers.

    You are right. I didn't think about that..... And those points are not much, of course better than nothing.
    Hope it will be changed.

    Thats true, plus they have no production costs, so is good for lower level players when they have a cash flow problem. I am not to bothered about the premium feeds but I will def find room for a lab on one of my farms because they will be adding more recipes, so sounds like it could be interesting. :)

    Thanks GGS for not making it so that we have to make room on main farm for this feature.

    Am looking forward to laboratory so can do experiments Got some amber, a toad, a chicken.  Enter dinochicken 5 eggs, egg scramble finished lol. On serious side if GGS provide land to build laboratory on, hope not to expensive in $s or gold   B)

    Like the idea of multi-upgrades at the same time - does this apply to houses also?

    I think the developers should be fixing the problems that  the game already has and after they fix them and the support team reply all the complains from the customers they need to reply before to start to put new buildings in the game, i think this only will cause new and more problems, is funny how they are asking give a "like the page" in the facebook button when they even "hear" the complains of a lot of players...this seems a joke from their part...

    Announcement says each lvl unlocks new recipes.  So as they add recipes if you want to use them you will need to upgrade to the new lvl.

    Looks interesting and worth adding to at least one farm to test out how much I use it.

    Several have been asking for years for the ability to make premium feed in a farm machine just as we do premium humus.  I am not sure why this is not a farm machine and why it needs to take up valuable farm space.

    Hmm, I think that premium feed may not be subject to the barn max?   Is that right?

    @gavinfarms(US1) - I suggested earlier that it could be put on the site where the cinema used to be. Seems to be a more logical position for it.

    The size of this lab is the next biggest concern. If it's bigger than a 5 X 5 deco then it should be located outside of the farm where the movie theater was (someone mentioned this location to, good spot for it).  Edit** ( Just found out it is a 5 X 5)

    Now I have to find workers for it. I know it only needs 5 workers but that's 5 workers for apple/cherry trees.

    Why couldn't it be set up like the greenhouse with no workers?

    So the new buildings make premium feed.  We will pay for the ingredients and the cost of making the feed.  But the only advantage to premium feed is that it is free to use.  

    So I will end up spending more to make premium feed, plus the cost of the building, upgrades & workers just to get a product that does the same thing as regular feed, only it is free to use.  I think we will find we spend a lot more to make the feed than we save when we use it.

    I think I will let you guys all try this one out.  I just don't see the point.

    There was a clarification posted by the moderator on the EN board about having the Lab on each farm.  They can all be working at once, but must be making the same product.
    Right now, to me, this appears to be much ado about nothing.  It may be a help to the lower level players.  As they add new recipes, my opinion may change.
  • I agree with Ros7.   Will GGS please concentrate on the fixes needed and answer the complaints instead of glossing over everything by adding new features (which will probably come with a whole new set of bugs).  Also I see no value with making the premium feeds.  Maybe down the road GGS will come up with useful recipes or unusual recipes.

    My question is this, if the premium feeds are now to be made by us in buildings that will take up valuable real estate on our farms, will they no longer be given away as rewards and prizes?

    I never found the premium feeds to be all that useful -- they don't produce more stock than the plain feed, they just give a few experience points when we use them.  As I like a slower pace to my farming, I really don't need to speed up my experience points total.

    (I am presuming by "premium feed," they mean just that.  Not the "super" or "seaweed" feed.)

  • I agree with Roz7 as well fix things that need to be fixed!  As a somewhat new player I have a feeling that the feeds are just the beginning of the iceberg.  Prices for everything is about to take a serious increase is something I am betting on.  I would like to be wrong and perhaps I am from what I am reading in the announcement is that premium feeds for all the animals are going to become our responsibility, as apposed to theirs.  That it's going to become more expensive to run your farm and a little harder to get ahead.  What you should be asking yourself is what is going to replace premium feed so they can get you to purchase gold to use it.  I don't like change a great deal and I am thinking that this is going to be major.  Yes I know cynical but hey it works for me.

    Let's pretend that I have a lvl 1 laboratory on my main farm, and a lvl 10 laboratory on my gourmet farm.  When I run something at the lab, will it use the formula for lvl 10 when determining the materials, or the lvl 1?  And if I were to run a recipe that requires lvl 10 to unlock, will the game count the lvl 1 lab as a 2nd building (letting me run 2 at a time), or will it only count the lvl 10 lab and only let me run 1?

    Sounds like an interesting update!
    Few questions:
    So if building multiple labs increases ONE SORT of produce, do you have like one main lab where you start production, eg only on main farm, and the other two labs on flower and gourmet are basically decoration (serving only visual proof of having unlocked produce-increase) which you dont ever click on again? Or can you start production in any of the three labs and it automatically "locks" the other two labs so you dont start producing something else in the other?

    And if you only build one lab, can you choose to put it on any farm or does it have to be on the main farm?
