If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse it is a quick flick out and back to clear everything makes a huge difference at the moment with all the drops.

I know there is a confusion. And needlessly so. This time game makers did an excellent job. As I said, do yourself a favour. Mindless clicking doesn't help. The route out of confusion is quite simple and short. Just a few minutes spent in the event interface reading it and playing with it. You and pretty much everybody else too. Cause I'm not the only one who understands the event quite clearly without much effort, hm?. What you call sarcasom is a factual practical remark. If the energy invested into complaining and expression of anger was invested into understanding instead, everybody would be cool and clear by now about it. Sometimes it's a bit daft that players accuse GGS of this and that while it's mostly their fault that they are lazy to do their homework. Errrrrm ............. you may ignore me if you don't like that I call spade a spade ........

Yeah, just do your homework. Nothing too difficult about this event. Plain sailing, really ......

The special seeds will give you more drop items. like snowballs, romantic gifts & zodiac sign chips. Some of the special seeds are like roses, violets & so on, even your special corn wildflower seeds will help!

 in the chineese event i am  on reward 8 it says i have 40 before i go to 9 it is not working ,i have went through my farm several times and it just sits there fix it

Hmmmm, i don't understand this event..... New year or what ever. Too many things flying around my farm.
Only enent i'm really playing this time, is valentine event. Trying to find all balloons.
Others just gives rewards (or not).
Many players are confused and they keep asking me to help (they don't read forums, because they don't understand english). I am trying my best, but it is hard, when even i don't understand the event.

No. It will still pop, since you might be needing it for daily Activity Challenges

Hey @KATHYPlayer6 (US1) Are you sure you are collecting the correct zodiac chip? Each day has a certain chip you have to collect in order to collect the rewards. Day is the Ox chip for example. This can be seen on the left side of the event menu screen under activity challenge.

Another event that can only be won by goldusers/buyers, since 2 of the animals hardly drop. You will have to use the wheel and buy them if you want to win. I don't mind an event being difficult and I understand I can still win something without buying gold (like with the silo), but it stops being fun if there is no way to win without using/buying it. 

Also, the new forum layout is very confusing. Everything is merged and I can't find anything anymore

It will go up, when you finish at least one animal (100% chips). If you end up with all animals at 95% (teoretically), you are still geting 10 happines deco. Fore each finished animal, the deco improves.

The happiness won't go up until you have fully completed any one animal that relates to happiness

 Only after having finished collecting 100% of at least one of the zodiac coins, will it go up in happiness exactly as that particular coin promises (hover your mouse over each, it'll tell you).

I think it feels a little frustrating that only during the last days will the monkey-happiness finally change, i'd rather it would go up bit by bit than suddenly jump up loads (hopefully) at the end. *ogling own "10"*


Is it the case for everybody, that the lower 4 zodiacs (dragon, snake, dog, pig) seem to have a lower probability drop rate than the others? Especially that pig (and dog) are highly elusive, even though I want them most to reduce the size of the decoration.. 
Mind you I've never used the gold spin, so this (little) progress is "random spin" only.

I don't have time right now to read all the posts in this thread, so forgive me if this has already been mentioned.  

I have a Co-op member who has her Chinese New Year Event Stuck - no matter what she does, reload, clear cashes, restart the computer, etc. The number of items until the next reward is not changing at all. Even when it reset for the next day at 9PM PST tonight, the amount until the next reward stays the same.  

The whole event just disappeared from my Bazaar area completely. When I reloaded the game it came back.

I have a Co-op member that has the Chinese Event - stuck!  The number until the next reward will not change as she collects more items.  We have tried clearing cashes, rebooting the computer, refreshing the screen, changing browsers, etc. Nothing will work, it is stuck!

I just lost the whole event from my bazaar area, I reloaded the game and it came back though and mine is working OK so far.

@Craftycritters (US1)  Each day the activity challenge is different & there are 20 new rewards to win. The 1st day all zodiac chips counted towards the rewards, day 2 it was only Rat chips and today it is only Ox chips.... If you look above the number required,  it tells you what todays challenge is.

Here's my two cents worth regarding the Chinese New Year event. Just like Santa's wish list, this event has been made too complex and confusing.  When the devs are brainstorming a new event, they should ask themselves this question....."Can I explain how this event works in a single paragraph?"  No? Then how are coop leaders supposed to explain it to their members when they have such a limited amount of space to use in messages?
I don't know about you, but having to send multiple messages to explain what doesn't even make sense gets old fast.

@Michiru (GB1)   If Goodgames is following the sequence of the zodiacs, we are expected to collect dragon & snake zodiacs on 13 & 14 Feb, and dog & pig zodiacs on 19 & 20 Feb. I hope we are going to get more of those zodiacs on those particular days.

OKAY - FYI:

I tend to read the French Forum, as their CM does always answer all questions immediately and quite openly and clearly (to my taste). There was a discussion going on between players and CMs that only achieving 100% of all zodiac animals would give you the final end reward of the Fire Monkey deco. That even if you achieved 100% of 11 zodiac animals, thus missed one, that your end deco would stay at only 10 happiness and pieces would stay white. 
This startled me, so you can imagine I kept reading and followed all important/serious posts and of course all posts from the CM. Their CM promised to get back on this one.

So I have no definite answer yet on achieving this 100% of ALL zodiac animals being mandatory to achieve the end deco with added happiness - still waiting on that confirmation - but what I thought of being of interest I share here with you all:

Because both English and French are not my native language, I hope you will forgive me my mistakes.

- On the days that one particular zodiac animal is featured, only these chips count towards the daily activity challenge. On the rare days that no particular zodiac animal has been featured, then all zodiac chips count towards the daily activity challenge. BUT: Even on the days that one particular zodiac animal is featured, drops from all other animal chips certainly also count towards the end result of the whole event – but because we have 15 days in total to reach 100% per zodiac animal, these changes are barely visible. The percentages do increase but very slowly.

- It is stated that once you have obtained 100% from 1 zodiac animal, these chips will continue dropping out of your harvests anyway; once you have all the other zodiac animals at 100% then all extra (>100%) earned chips thereafter will still bring extra satisfaction to your end reward.

- It is stated that on the days with one particular zodiac animal featured, you can win 2 flags (No. 12 and 20). But there are also days (on which no particular zodiac animal is featured) where you can win a deco (No. 20). Simple sum: 12 animals and 15 days, so 3 days left in which to win a deco as final reward in the activity challenge. Speculations are that the remaining 2 days without a specific animal featured will prolly fall on the last 2 days of the event.

- It is recommended that especially on the days of the PIG and DOG to be more active so that you can catch up on their percentage (pig / dog chips do not seem to drop much)

- Once you reach 100% of 1 zodiac animal, that piece of the "Fire Monkey" deco will be colored/added/ unlocked.

- You will always get a deco, even if you have not achieved 100% of all zodiac animals. Only that piece of which you have achieved 100%, will be added/unlocked to your final Deco (as said: I am still waiting on confirmation on the happiness part)

Many of you might already have figured this out. For the others I hope this helps a bit - if I read anything more of importance, or a correction might be needed, I will edit this post.

Nope, scroll wheel on this game makes the thing zoom in and out ok, but doesn't clear the pieces. But just one quick click up in that pull down does the trick.  Thank you again.

Boy you just don't quit do you?   I'm in THREE very active coops and not one person understands this event.   And now I see why so many are not willing to go to the forums.  It's ok, I have a thick skin, so insult away.    Some people live for that.   Actually answering a question though, I don't see it. Just rudeness.  THAT I see from you.  

I posted an image of "here's your reward."  NO WHERE on that screen shot does it say WHAT the "reward" is.   Just a number and zodiac icon.   is that number an increase in collecting that one?  And for how long?   Is it an increase in amounts I will collect from then on?   I don't understand what they are calling a prize, and that information is not to be found.   So instead of accusing me of anger and stupidity, how about actually answering that one.

When you see this image on a day where we are collecting 1 specific chip, it means you have won a certain amount of that chip which, when collected, reduces the amount needed to gain next reward.

Are we not going to get any answers from GGS on anything?  GGS said that they don't like for us to complain about not hearing from them, but this seems really bizarre........ that we have no answers about anything in this thread.  This is a mostly good event, but it is hard to enjoy it when we get no answers about the problems that do pop up.
