Things are getting worse and worse.

I noticed problems are just piling up more and more, problems like dog exp not working without having to go to another farm and come back to the main, crop desync, and now chat stopped working, terrible amount of lag, harvest cannot be done unless the game is reloaded each and every time.

Would be nice if the old problems with be tackled and some improvement made to the awkward UI which is aging fast.  Harvesting can be such a pain in the butt having to evade the "zZ" which is always in the way of a click, selling overcrops is painfully long, clicks after clicks after clicks mixed in miss clicks and whatnot.

  • Are you using Chrome? I had to download a whole new browser to get it to work out... I'm asking cause it sounds like you're dealing with the flash issues... they are not fun. If that is the case I found this helpful.

While I know that support is very busy with much bigger technical issues, I am hoping you don't forget about us little people.  While those of us having a lag issue may be small in number, we would like to play just as much as everyone else.  Currently, it is hard enough to play the three main farms, but harder yet when we are also trying to play the event and Candy Farm.  Everything for us is slower and much harder to achieve.  I'm sure that I speak for others as well as myself when I ask for at least a CM to respond and let us know if anything is being done or being worked on.  Any info would be appreciated.
This issue has been discussed in depth on the Big Farm EN(glish) forum. Some of us (including myself) are finding that adding a new browser like Opera (free download) to play the game is working well, without the lag technical issues slowing down the game. You don't have to eliminate your current browsers, just add on and activate the Adobe Flash Player when you use an alternate browser to access the Big Farm Game.By clicking on the above hyperlinks, you can read posts on the EN forum where other players have described their difficulties. Near the end of the thread (light at the end of the tunnel), are some workarounds that have been successful, which seems to be using other browsers than Google Chrome.  Edit: If you do download Opera, notice that you are selecting the stable version, not the one that is labeled "beta."  You can read Michiru's step by step instructions and other helpful information in the first hyperlink above.  Hope that helps.

  • It's not Chrome in and of itself. This has all been talked about at length in other post about lag time. It cleared up for a few days and recently started again and is a real bummer. Right before the CC too, and with everything else that's going on, well..

If your having a lagging problem, it might be the speed of your internet. Its possible for the game to be too big for your computer to load right. Also, try using Google Chrome or Opera. I find that Google Chrome works best for me.
  • Google Chrome is all I have ever used, I dont like IE, And Chrome is what works the best for me too. in all games and fb too

I have to use Chrome for some of the game and firefox for an other part of the game.

I can harvest on firefox but can not switch farms or watch ads, have to use chrome to watch ads or switch farms.

Then if i use IE the lag is so bad I could take a shower or walk the dog in between clicks of the mouse and waiting for it to happen.

I have a Desktop and a laptop and it is the same on both so I know it is not my computers.

Kind of takes the fun out of a game when you have to switch to a new browser every 10 minutes.

So I am all for them fixing problems before adding anything new.

  • I have noticed much lag, No complaints though there is much that could be my slow CPU and connection.

I am far more concerned about the lopsided competitions.
You have a strange way of matching that does not seem relative to rank or abilities. It makes competing not worth the effort or will to compete for new players. And most players are very competitive to the point they will never even show unless they are maxed out. Bronze level competitions Races Horses, are totally out of whack LOL made me laugh to see my opponent. I would have to play for a month to even have scores that looked like that. REALLY? REALLY? LOL
  • The lag is GGS US1 server / communication lines. They just aren't up to the capacity necessary; then throw in a challenge, event and everything gets so slow that sometimes the server can not respond to you and - CRASH - you get logged out or worse stuck in an endless loop

it's not browser related but changing browsers back and forth may clear up memory - give the server a break it desperately needs and - SEEM - to work

Flash was never a good idea; a better way would be to make at least the images into a downloadable DLL file (or many .GIF files) so you are not running them up and down then net; just the data
