The only other thing the space could be is if we donate enough...... Do other coops that completed all 4 weeks also have this space?
We do. As far as I can see with my bare eyes. But eventhou we finished all four weeks, we had a couple of players absent all four weeks, so I do not know if this bare space is due to them or due to the last step chance of wining extra happines.
  • @CM Latten

Thank you for clearing that up I appreciate your time :)

nope, no space Scissors, but I hope extra happiness will be added after this final step, so that the deco we receive will have a value of 7

So, I guessed right. The free space is due to players that had 0% in collecting weaks.

  • @PCA (GB1) ... Thanks PCA that solves one mystery, we must have not donated enough to fill it to the top...WTG your coop for getting there though!

    Thank you Scissors,

luckily, like you, we have a brilliant Team, we found this event a bonding experience, and the whole planning part has been a lot of fun. Still looking forward to Santa's workshop, to see what it offers :-)

  • Please excuse me if this was already answered, but if s player has completed the 4 weeks at 100% and wants to move to another coop now, what is going to happen with the award? Will he get his reward for completing the event? If the new coop is within the best 24 will his deco be upgraded?
  • I can honestly say I have enjoyed this holiday challenge. Helping my co-op out when I rarely hear from most of them. Giving me an objective/purpose if you will. But I am disappointed in the collecting of snowflakes. Why only the main farm? Why is not everyone included in the members list for collecting snowflakes? How can we work together on this project?
  • I think your old member will receive the reward of its new coop, but your coop will lose the satisfaction earned by this player. Full doubt about what will happen to its personal satisfaction. Sorry for my bad English, my mother tongue is french.
  • Thanks a lot. Please some more opinnions, maybe form @Nafaru or @Latten
  • You will get the deco award for whatever coop you are in when the event ends, but someone posted earlier that when you leave your coop they will lose all the snowflakes you collected so far. Your snowflake count will start again from 0 too.
  • So if i change the coop i will get the 4th level deco? Right?

If that is the one the new coop has reached, yes.

GGS are getting far too greedy for my liking and this game  has more faults than good points over the past few months, I haven't collected anything on my main farm since this last week started as I feel so bad for those co-ops that wont  have a shot at the palace, for what its actually worth I will be scrapping it when  landscape architect comes next time if I come back to this game which to be honest I am doubtful I will, it was fun while it lasted but time to move n to something better,  I hope GGS learn something from this  fiasco of an event and learn not to be so greedy and take the game back to what it used to be like  fun :), it has been fun and I have met some great people along the way  I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a wonderful new year  :)  take care.

  • Where is the original announcement for Santa's Wish List ?   I don't see it in Official Announcements.  All I can find is an update saying that they are giving us money for items donated.     It should be put back in the announcements  again.

    Thanks Scissors, very much appreciated.
  • I just have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of Santa's List, and how my coop pulled together to help on Last Chance Sundays.  We shared tips and tricks and helped each other and gave morale boosters.  Which really showed how we ROCK as we cleared the lists.
Having Naughty and Nice show up during the event was a great benefit.  Rudolph's advent calendar has been lots fun too.  If you could have more events that are geared toward Coops like Santa's List was, I think that would be great, so I hope that more of these coop type of events will follow.
Maybe if there were more of these type of Coop events then the Cooperative Championship could be decreased in frequency returning it back to a special event.
Anyway I had fun so thank you.
To All at GGS: May your holidays be festive andHave a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

If I collect snowflakes while in a co-op, then leave the co-op before the end of this event, does the co-op keep the snowflakes?

I'm in a co-op now, only to make a farm $$/gold donation.  I was going to harvest all my farm so they could benefit from the snowflakes before I leave.

    Anyone know for sure?
  • @DuffyPoo222 (INT1) Someone posted somewhere that their kid accidentally removed them from their coop & they lost their snowflake count. When they rejoined they had to start again from 0.

i think new event will come tomorrow , so excited ,else there is no event
  • THE RUN UP TO XMAS GAME AND SANTA WORKSHOP WERE SO, SO,,,, BORING.!  .LIKE WATCHING PAINT DRY..WHERE WAS THE SPARKLE? THE SURPRISES? AND NOT A  XMAS TREE REWARD IN SITE..! I WOULD RATHER HUNT THE MUSHROOMS. AT LEAST THAT'S FUN. i.M SO SORRY I WASTED SO MUCH TIME ON HERE. EXPECTING SOMETHING TO HAPPEN AND NOTHING EVER DID...I CAN SEE WHY SOME MEMBERS DIDN'T BOTHER TO PLAY SANTA LIST.LOTS OF WORK AND TIME PUT INTO IT ..FOR WHAT???.NOTHING.!!  OH  AND BY THE WAY PAY FOR YOUR REWARD... I WONT BOTHER TO PLAY AROUND XMAS NEXT YEAR ,I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH MY TIME.....
ANYONE ELSE THINK IT WHAT BORING..?????
  • I couldn't agree more.. it was so boring...Christmas time is magical and special.. there should have been little mini games with Xmas type rewards. maybe a bauble or Xmas card anything that related to xmas would have been nice. instead you slogged you way through the Santa list to be saddled with buying your own reward.. who though of that? shear genius !!...I expected better from you..no thought whatsoever gone into this..
    BORING....

Now that the work shop is almost done does that mean we are not going to get the chance to fill the rest of Santa's Wish List that we have not completed? I believe it stated in the beginning that we would be giving a chance near the end of the event to do that.

    Latten and Nafaru,

These decisions (about not giving the animated deco to those who did the work of getting everyone to 100 percent) have real consequences.  I have too high-level members who have decided to quit the game completely over this.  They don't understand why you do not have to live up to what was said.  So........ I want you to know that when you do something like this, the result is not simply that some people are disappointed by the lack of the deco, but it is also more work, because I have to find two more people who can "replace" these two.  These are major farmers.  Replacing them will be very hard.

I don't know what is the purpose for exceeding santa event if we are to compete only one week to be in top 24. Today is last day for it. So what about other 7 days? Or it is kept secret. hmmmm
