Hi all! Here's a thread for everything and anything related to Thanksgiving :blush: 

From random wit, recipes, stories, escapism, and ideas on how to protect your turkey, all is welcome  B)

May our friends from the US server feel free to get hyped up early, and those who dont celebrate this holiday but love to get hyped up anyway, come hither and join!  (Yes I am attempting to re-create the random joys of the Halloween thread)

    When I think of Thanksgiving, one of the first things that comes to mind is the classic image of the Horn of Plenty.  Great coloring fun for the kids! :)

                   I GIVE THANKS..........

    Thanksgiving Day is the time of the year,
    when we gather to feast with those we hold dear.

    It's when we bow our heads together and pray,
    and give thanks for our blessings on this special day.

    And though I assure you there are so many more,
    here's some of the blessings that I give thanks for:

    I GIVE THANKS.... for having plenty to eat,
    a nice place to live, my life complete.

    I GIVE THANKS.... for the soldiers of the U.S.of A,
    who fight for our safety in a war far away.

    I GIVE THANKS.... for living in a land that is free,
    and a shining example for the whole world to see.

    I GIVE THANKS.... for my family, and to God above,
    for the endless bounty of their love.

    And because I was born where the corn grows tall,
    I GIVE THANKS.... for the Farmers who feed us All.
