Enormous Amount of Horseshoes Required for Training all of a sudden

Hi everyone,

I have one horse trained to level 30 and it wasn't difficult to do so. The amount of horsehoes I needed was quite reasonable I remember.

I have another horse that I am trying to train to level 30. This horse was the product of 2 other horses and when I bred her, I noted that for each of the 3 training options, it said "-50%" so I thought "great! training this one will be a breeze!". It was until now. She's at level 25 and now to move her to a level 26 in any of the three training options I need a ridiculous amount of training points. For example, in Endurance training, I need 625 more to move her to from level 25 to level 26! That's 12,500 horseshoes for 1 level up! That's crazy!

It was never like that before. I'm wondering what has happened?! Has this happened to anyone else?

That's how the game works. A horse can level 11 times at very low cost, then the cost starts rising exponentially for each level. If you breed two horses of the same level, they merge to give a new horse of that level. This new horse can now level up another 11 levels before the cost starts rising exponentially again.

Just for example, I train 4 horses till 13 Level then breed them and new 2 horses of 13 Lvl I train up to 25 Lvl(not more) now.
Next, I'll buy new horses and repeat the same to have 4 horses of 25 Lvl. After I breed them I'll have 2horses of 25 Lvl which I'll train further for the same low cost as my first13Lvl horses.
All the trains must be non-intensive!

Narinka, thank you for that detailed answer. You said something interesting - that the trains must be non-intensive. My horse at level 30 only needs 25 training points to move to level 31 for each training type and for that horse, I've never done intensive training. This horse that I'm having trouble with I've done intensive training a couple of times. Is this the problem?

The only problem with intensive training is that it uses a lot more horseshoes for a given number of training points. It does not affect the number of training points needed.

My next step is to train horses from 25 to 35 Lvl.
Why 35?
Usually I try to keep "the price" for 1 training - at least 3-4 Levels.
A training of 35 Lvl horse to 36 Lvl will take 1980 horseshoes(depending on riding arena/circle/course level).
A training of 35 Lvl horse, a foal of of those 35Lvl horses, will take the same 1980 horseshoes for training up to 39 Level.
1980 horseshoes for 1 level VS 1980 horseshoes for 3 levels. The difference is not so much, only 3 levels. But I have a bonus: it is a new third slot of "Foal breeding value". It is created when I breed a pair of 35 Lvl.


This is just my scheme of training, maybe someone can offer a better one, I'd be glad


Levels before breeding:
0-13 (1 training)
13-25 (2 non-intensive trainings)
25-35 (2 non-intensive trainings)
35- ... I haven't decided yet. Maybe for 40 LVL, then from 40 to 50 LVL(to get 4th Foal breeding value slot).

Question, all, how do you do differentiate if you are training your horse non-intensive vs. intensive? Are the riding circle, riding arena, and show level jumping course that you upgrade, are those non-intensive or intensive training?

When you move the slider to how much training you want to do, the blue section is normal training & that uses 20 horseshoes for every 2 training points (+ bonus points for the level of your arena...level 2 arena +2 points etc) Once the slider goes into the orange zone, that is intensive training & you are only getting 1 point (+bonus) for each 20 horseshoes, so its going to use up way more horseshoes, but use less training sessions.

If you don`t have many shoes, best to do more training sessions using less shoes & getting the bonus more times. Also upgrade your arenas as soon as you can.
