Complaint re: cherries and peaches

I added a silo on my gourmet farm by deleting one of my almond orchards. I am still not being able to harvest cherries (once or twice) or peaches (never). Please lower them from 30 to 10 or have the computer choose them quicker.

As stated elsewhere, the computer decides when, if ever, I can plant them. I would like to be able to decide when just like I do with the gardens or fields.

Did you read the comment leghorn gave you on this thread? If you don't make enough dung there is no need for a second silo. Try upgrading as much stables as you can, upgrade the silo on your main farm (it will use less dung and produce allot more fertilizer) and and try to decide what you want to start first, you should save some fertilizer so you can start your cherry or peaches instead of starting apples or almonds as soon as you have fertilizer.

To upgrade my silo on the main farm (from level 2 to 3) would cost $ 750,000.00. I am on Level 34. Who has those $?

How do you save fertilizer??? Is there a special trick to it? The computer still picks the orchards, not me. I wish I could choose for myself.

You are the only one that has control as to what orchard you want to fertilize. You do NOT have to use fertilizer on any orchards if you do not want to. Just because the ZZZZ's turn blue, doesn't mean you have to use it. The game is not set up to run by itself, only you have the control to use it or you can simply choose not to use fertilizer. Save it until your barn is full if you want.

Don't let the game control you, you control the game!

I can grow things in the GARDENS and FIELDS without fertilizer. I cannot grow my orchards on my own unless I us it. Otherwise, the computer does control the orchards. I can click on the different orchards 100 times, but unless the "zz's" are blue and there is enough fertilizer, I cannot grow anything.

Explain to me just how it is you can grow ORCHARDS without fertilizer.

All we are saying is that YOU choose where you use the fertilizer that you have made. If you have 20 fertilizer & your apple & almond orchards have blue ZZZzzzs and your cherry & peaches have red ZZZzzzs, you need to ignore the blue ones & wait until you have made more fertilizer so that you have 30. Then you will get blue ZZzzzs on your cherry & peaches & you will be able to start one of them.

This is a short term solution. Long term you need more animals, to make more dung, so that you can make enough fertilizer to run all your orchards all the time.

I finally got my level 1 silo on my gourmet farm producing 30 fertilizer, but it's
going to take over 8 hours!!!! If the boat asks for more than the yield, there is no way you can supply it (depending on the product) since the boat is only docked for around 6 hours.

How many cherries and peaches are harvested at one time? I have never been able to produce peaches and it's been awhile for cherries so I don't recall.

Maybe more cherries and peaches can pop up in the bubble appearing above the workers' heads. I have gotten NO peaches and maybe 3 or 4 cherries. More frequency on them would be great to help supplement the harvests.

It is only a game. There is no rush to do anything. I always grow my cherries and peaches first since they take 12+ hours to grow and then use fertilizer in my other orchards. I only have the silo on my main farm and see no reason to add another one because even with 3 duck coops, 1 donkey barn, 3 cows, 3 pigs and 3 hens, I can easily keep up with the production of fertilizer in the one silo and sometimes even have to wait for dung. As you unlock more stuff, you will need cherries and almonds for other things too that make you more money selling the actual product. Concentrate on upgrading orchards that can be, your silo if it can be and store as much as you can so you have it for when the boat requires it in order to take away the maximum amount of money. I don't worry about horseshoes but I try hard to fill those first 4 spots so I can all the money the boat offers. That is how you will be able to afford upgrades.
