Horse Season Going Weird

Ok So here I am, moving from lowest to higher and higher in ranks. Bronze, you lost you lose nothing. Silver, you lose you lose 1 point. Gold, you lose you lose 2 points. Here's my problem, in gold, it's a dead stop. I'm just not moving anymore, losing is a massive impact and strangely, my win/lost ratio seems WAY greater in gold than in silver or bronze.

I'm puzzled, and I'm going to be clear here, I'm not talking about the 0, -1, -2 difference between phases but about why would my win/lose ratio be so dramatically different in gold?

Evidently, I will not be going anywhere in gold phase, I've been trying for almost a week to reach 575 and it's just not working, while in the previous phases that would have taken me just a few days.

So am I missing something I don't get? Does it mean it's end of my progress and I will never be able to go any further up?

It does get tougher the higher you get & the losses get bigger too. Just keep training & breeding your horse & then doing challenges in between when you have fuel & your horse should progress the same as others. If you don`t keep improving your horse it will start to feel like you are going backwards as others around you get better.

Well, with the darn quest, my horse is permanently stuck at level 20. With the 1/2 level 20 horse quest, I'm force to bring another horse to level 20 just to complete that quest to get the tiny bit of horse shoes I need to grow my main horse.

Another very weird thing I've noticed and I have yet to understand is why in heck's name is my level 12 horse needs FIVE TIME the horse shoes compared to my level 20 horse needs to level? It's AMAZING the amount of shoes I need to just try to squeeze one level out of that level 12 horse. It's gone so insane that I'm ready to give up on the quest because, as thing stands, that lower level horse will never reach level 20, ever. I cannot even imagine the HUGE amount of shoes it would need for 19-20.

And yet, my level 20 horse needs 4 clicks from 0-100% to level 1 quality. Other lower level horse, needs almost 40 clicks PER SKILL!

That is exactly what breeding is for. If I was you I would buy a new horse level 0, you will find that it trains very easily up to level 12, then breed it with your existing level 12. They will both disappear & you will get a new horse level 12 that trains REALLY fast up to level 20. Then breed that one with your level 20 & their baby will train really fast up to level 30 etc. Basically train each horse until it starts to get slow to train more, then breed.

hmm I'm confused but since I can buy up to 4 horses, guess I'll do that. Getting tired of seeing how impossible it is to level that horse anyway. Thanks for the tip I'll put it to the test right away! Welllll.. prolly not right away since I'm out of horse shoes.

Wait.. just to be sure, I should probably breed it when it reaches level 10 cause I do notice they start to gulp quite a bit of horse shoes 10+, this means I can't really test it for a while cause now I gota brain that 0 horse to level 10 at least but I'll do that for sure.

When I first started working on my horse's, I was confused too. I still do not know all the ends and outs of it all, but I have the jest of it. I have one horse that is level 20. He is a offspring of two other horses that are now roaming the great plains of Big Farm. I then bought another horse and leveled him up to 12 kinda quickly. I just bought a third horse and will start to level that one up to level 12. Once that happens, I will breed the two level 12 horses and then level that offspring up to level 20. Then I will breed my two level 20 horses and start the process all over again. It will take a while, but will be worth it way down the road.

Level 10 is fine yes. If you breed a 10 with your 12, the new horse will be an 11, but that will still train up to level 20 very fast.
