Bellah12 (US1)

I tried to use the booster for the fishing event. I used $12900 GOLD to do so. It did not work. I cancelled it due to not working thinking I would get my GOLD back. That did not work either. Can I please get my GOLD back and WHY did the booster not work?? Thank you
