Have they changed the minimum amount of gold you have to purchase to stop those annoying ads from filling my screen.
If that is the case as I am a pensioner I will be forced to stop playing after 10 years.

Just the tiniest purchase or a subscription will stop them for 30 days.

I was buying minimum amount when it was $2-00 pm, but now minimum is $7-00 pm and is out of reach in my situation.

Join the groups of players in the same boat and it is sinking fast! Yes I as well will be leaving the game after my ten year mark due to the stupid ads they just had to add for our gaming pleasure ? !

This works for most people to remove the ads

They are some extra parameters the game takes when you load the game from a different URL or website etc, mostly it is something related to the time it's loaded or the site from which it's loaded, possibly it's ID.

This is not an official answer and is from my personal belief/knowledge as I am also a web developer.

You were right and thanks. Still won't prevent me from leaving the game as the in game adds still pop up to interrupt the game play. So sad when the game use to be fun to play!

I think you are describing something that just doesn't happen on AU1. One of our team has a farm on US1, I'll talk to him and see if he has any ideas

He gets no pop-ups on either server and suggested that your ad blocker is not working (assuming you have one)

I'm not sure we can completely avoid popups ??

I have installed UBlock for Chrome and pay monthly for a personal package and I get them too.
In other words, those with buying gold for 165% or even 195% or buying gold for Coopet

Maybe I'm just unlucky too

On US1 there are pop up ads that come up from time to time in the center of the screen that are part of the game program and are not blocked by ad blockers but they are always ads for Big Farm. One pops up when you first sign in for the day and they will occasionally pop up while you are playing which can be VERY annoying if you are in the middle of trying to harvest something for a timed event or even worse if you click the red "X" to cancel and accidentally harvest something (especially things that have long growing times) directly under the "X" that you are saving because it hasn't come up yet in Coop Challenge or its the next thing coming up for a Hardwork event.

That is when those pop ups become particularly annoying.

I've sometimes wondered if it's the algorithm that says: You've clicked 100 times in your game, now you need a popup

LOL. I don't know for sure. This is the one I'm currently getting when I sign in.

Clicking the red "X" to cancel isn't a big issue unless there are unharvested crops under it or I'm in a hurry.

I consider those to be ingame notifications rather than "ads" (an ad would be someone trying to sell me a car or a toaster or whatever) :¬)

That maybe as well. I do use an adblocker but even with that running I still get the ads. Since I started using https://www.goodgamestudios.com/ and not https://bigfarm.goodgamestudios.com/ not as many but
No matter as I posted I'll be leaving the game.

Could the CM please ask them to reinstate the piggy bank? It certainly made it easier for some players to buy gold. Buying gold has gone from 90 days ad-free to 60 days to now only 30 days. In light of this, it makes more sense. Please ask.

This goes back to what we were all saying years ago -- make the game fun again, and fewer people will leave, and more might join and/or buy gold. Eliminating almost all GML prizes in the hopes of making players buy more gold seems to have had the opposite effect. How many players have quit doing the events because the GMLs were removed? Pleasure Park comes to mind. And the hustle for apples isn't so important now that we can no longer buy GMLs with them.

Make the game rewarding again, and more will open their wallets.
