Getting closer, but no cigar. The answer is in the first three pics, an action of the gif, and the last one posted is a definition.

My word is the name of a physical object you can see in pictures 1 & 2.  And, the name of the actions you see in 3 & 4.

Since it seems there a only a few contributing to this contest, if you give up, I will tell you the answer and post another.

Though stair fits, that is not the word. It's a synonym to stair, though, and more specific. Will wait to hear if Jenny gives up, then post answer.

oh didnt you here? Its a language
    its called wowhigobdis  :D:D:D

not many know how to speak this language
I am surprised you know about it ha ha ha

its actually an ancient dialect spoken in some english villages
    has many many "interesting" words
used from the villagers who wanted foreign people not be able to understand them
yes... you can twist your tongue very easily
of course.. I speak wowhibobdis very well , not a problem for me here ha ha ha

    I'll show you an example

Hey you ... why you make kerfuffle?
    very hullaballoo and gobbledygook
    whippersnaper too!
    gibberish,discombobulate, flumox ... stop lollygag

    and all that means

Hey you... why are you making so much noise?
you shout and make such a fuss and you are full of nonsense
you are very arrogant too. you think you know everything
your words have little meaning, you want to confuse us all , stop wasting time and being lazy

you see? very interesting dialect ... indeed
     :D  :D:D

Googling this word and believing it exists made me lose some brain cells.
Hope the cat didn't smash the keyboard lol.

My word was stoop. The father and son are sitting on the stoop, the holy water holder is called a stoop, the taller man is stooping down to the boy, and the act of stripping or demoting an officer is called to stoop.
  • @jwllmsjnb (US1)

Rats. I almost got it. I really like your style of 1-word answers though.

My new one word entry. It's easier, but I have more pics that I will add a day at a time till it is guessed. Just in case.

  • @jwllmsjnb (US1)

    Is the world "bolt"?
I know top right is a bolt (lock), bottom right is nuts and bolts, bottom left is a sieve (another word for bolt)
