    I'm not sure if all the pictures are the same. But the 2nd and 3rd looks more like Sapphire. So my guess is Sapphire. Mainly found in Sri Lanka and India?

    These are Sapphires (my favorite gemstone).  
    Top right are from Nigeria
    Bottom left are from Kashmir
    Bottom right are yellow sapphires from Montana or Australia
    Top Left are from Ceylon

    They're all edible?

    These desserts I think have given me the best clue.  I have been to Belgium and these tasty pastries are commonly found in the the little shops along the coastal cities of Western Belgium.  Do you need the actual city?  The cattle are Holstein Dairy Cattle which are also common in Belgium.  The fishing boat are a wonderful sight along the beaches of Oostende.  Oostende also has lots of flower shops such as these pictured.

    explanation:
    1. desserts that you find everywere in Greece (made from fruit like grapes or fig, you find them in jars and the best translation I can make is sweet spoon or spoon dessert)
    2. a beautiful beach , very general cause it could be anywhere in Greece

    4. and this plant grows only on Crete and no where else , its called cephalanthera cucullata

    I feel all these crystals are different. So I guess the theme in general would be Gemstones/ crystals. 
    All these crystals are found in Canada.
