do kites have to take flight!?!?!?

Ok, as i was farming today, i realised that i wanted another cowshed. I head over to slot it in and i need to get rid of my 25%+ rep kite which comes from the WWC. If I was to have that stored in my inventory, would the booster still count? or would it not be counted.

Does this also make a difference if was placing on the Decoration Valley. Would i get the boosters even if was on that farm? please help me as i'm unaware and not sure.

    The kite booster will not work if it is in inventory or on the Decoration Valley

    ugh, Really? because it does say on the WWC page that it already has the 25% and so then i'd assume that it would be a perma boost.

    all goods then lol:))

    As Farmer Deb stated above, the kite has to be built on the farm in order for the bonus to count up.
