pop ups making game lag and blocking clicks. I hate when I go to click something and a pop up blocks it. it used to be transparent and when make the items disapear faster.

And some of the buy-me buttons are blue instantaneously, and the ones that aren't turn blue in just a few seconds.

This is done on purpose as a part of the game strategy .
One that has us all upset over the "No Gold Lock" option to help prevent miss using gold on those pop ups. Better known as miss-clicks

Best bet 4 now is to slow down a bit & watch closely to what you click on. Won't help the lag or the blocking of what you where trying to click on.
But may help to save your Gold.

To clear your screen quickly after a massive harvest try zooming in then back out. With a wheel mouse it's pretty quick

Slowing down doesn't always help. When you already are mid-click and a pop up with no delay pops up, you are SOL. They promised a long time ago to add more seconds to the greyed out buttons, but they've gone in the other direction. Another thing they hope we've forgotten about.

You are correct there are times when even slowing down does not help. And agree with adding a better delay to the pop ups and put the "Gold Lock" into place.

Pop ups should.come in a small window on top right hand side of the screen ... Where there is just sky.

No one clicks on sky to harvest anything

This way everyone sees a pop up came and it doesn't affect the players collecting the farm.

I'm having a problem with this too.

I have ignored the forums for a long time, I don't normally post things like this, but this is a specific and messed up situation I've found and this looks the most appropriate place.

In addition to the problems mentioned here, I have also always had a problem with pop ups on the fishing region. that is, it seemed to me that whenever I went to load boats a pop up would spring up in the back ground, behind the boat loading window, and this would spur the careless individual to click a BUY NOW button instead of the next boat they want to load.

recently ive begun having the same problem on the horse ranch as well, i'm worried we will see the trend spread.

THAT IS, all this horse season, whenever I go to race my horses, a pop up shows up in the background, behind my racing horses window. What this result in is a delay between finishing one race and the start of the next where right where the start race button would be there is a nice blue, active, BUY NOW button.

Luckily I have been vigilant and have not lost gold to either the fish or horse, but this was Not a good set up for the fishing region and its Not a good set up here on the horse ranch. It looks kind of bad for GGS, it reflects poorly.

Thanks for your time, again lag and misclicks are additional issues and this seemed the most appropriate/recent thread to share this without starting a new one. Apologies if you feel I have derailed a bit. edited

I have noticed this happening a lot on the horse ranch too.

Pop Ups are aggravating and take away from game play

Been times I just sign out because too many pop ups

Why can't they be on side bar, out of our way

They could very easily be put in a separate building just for the pop ups like the trade center.

But then they wouldn't be able to trick us into spending our gold.

So don't expect that to happen.

the non stop pop ups offering gold bargains and such are worthless and take away from the enjoyment of the game

you people are so greedy; get over it not everyone buys gold every five minutes

totally agree. they seem to be popping up even more now than ever. really getting on my nerves
