A Message From Hunter to the Community

Hi Farmers,

I have some very important news I would like to share with all of you today. I first joined the Big Farm community team after having worked in other roles within GGS and was pleased as punch to become your CM! In the time I have spent in this role I have had the opportunity to do some amazing things, meet some truly amazing people (both in the office and on the forums) and I have really grown as a person thanks to the experiences I’ve shared with you all.

If you couldn’t tell already, the reason I am writing this post is because I will no longer be a CM for Big Farm after this week. A new opportunity has opened up for me at another company and I was asked if I would be interested in pursuing it. I am extremely sad to be moving on from GGS, the time I have spent here has been a wonderful experience! Even during the more tough moments I was always surrounded by a fantastic team and a superb community of wonderful humans. I am extremely proud of what we have all achieved together and I wouldn’t trade the time or experience for anything.

I would like to say a big thank you to to the moderator team, who do what they do tirelessly and often for very little recognition or praise. They have shown me every day that we have worked together what real dedication, patience and kindness are. To each mod I worked with, thank you.

I had planned to make a home of Big Farm for a lot longer and I am sad that this journey will come to an end; had it not been the perfect offer at the perfect time I had intended to become even more deeply involved in the game and its continuing development. It was a very tough choice to make and I feel a great mixture of emotions about moving on. There are many plans for the future of the game and we have been working hard to improve our feedback in many ways, your voices are heard now more than ever before and this is thanks to the tireless efforts of the team and the community team in particular. They will continue to reach for new goals, of improving communication and improving the game, listening to player feedback, implementing new and exciting ideas!

For now, thank you all for being so accepting of me and a great community! I will miss the role and the people very much and will never forget the wonderful experiences I have had, the challenges I have faced or the people I have met here.
