This weeks contest is based on an idea from change (INT1) :)





Time for some Sudoku with a difference - Using letters instead of numbers!

Finish filling in the grid below
using only the 9 letters:   O N T H E F A R M



RULES:
Every row, column & block of 9 squares must each contain all 9 letters



SEND YOUR ENTRY TO ME IN A PRIVATE MESSAGE
Either as an uploaded image or typed 

There will be 5 winners randomly drawn from all correct entries
each winning 1500 nice shiny gold coins!!

Contest will close at 10am CEST on Monday 16th

    I have a question



    We have to make ONTHEFARM only one time in this sudoku or shall fill all the blocks?

    Its a nice idea.......very interesting.

    We have to solve in similar way like the normal Sudoku, which have numbers, right?
    or is there any other way of solving this Sudoku?

    @USAMA CHAUDHARY (INT1)  DreamScape is correct, you solve it just like a normal Sudoku. The 9 letters must appear in every row, every column & each of the 9 blocks of 9 squares. So you fill in all the squares, they won`t be in the order ONTHEFARM. :)

    we have to fill all the blocks, just like the regular sudoku.

    A very impressive 46 of you managed to complete the puzzle,
    so well done to you all!

    Now we just need 5 posts picking a number between 1-46 
    to decide the lucky winners :)

    So are you saying those that participated still have to post a random number in order to win? Are you not making a lottery on your end out of those 46 that sent in the answer?

    Or do you want any random person (who did not participate) pick a number for you? If the latter is the case,

    @Michiru (GB1)  The 46 correct entries have all been allocated a random number between 1-46, so we just need 5 numbers picked, anyone can pick a number. :)
