Wasted Space... Barren Land.

Whilst 'Watering' I see that many players leave vast areas of light brown space
going empty.    I think in the early stages, players think they need the space for 
the farmers to move around, or that a big space with a fountain in the middle, 
will look really cool.
The problem is, that those empty spaces have been paid for, and should be producing
crops for the farm and Co-Op.
Also if you loosely put in extra houses, fields and decos, there will be many little spaces
dotted around the farm.
My solution is to get all the empty spaces joined together... Like mercury droplets....
and then you can see the extent of the Barren Land.
Obviously every item is a different size, and really only like items will easily group 
together....  So have a line of houses...  a square of chicken sheds, and all 4x4 decos
grouped together.

You could also use a redecorating tool to see how much space you have open everywhere of course ^^
