If you are looking at the number of training points required for say show jumping, while you are in the show jumping window, it has a default of 20 horseshoes ready to train, so you will see a blue section on the meter of however many points those 20 horseshoes would train & that will make that number look different. If you changed to the racing tab, you will see the number for show jumping goes back to its current level & the number for racing will now be different.
